When it came to deciding on a daybed to our nursery/guest room, 1 thing was apparent. The room was only about 7 feet wide, so every bit of furniture needed to count. Bearing that in mind, we chose a daybed with three large drawers for storage. Beds with built-in storage possess lots of perks. It is certainly nicer to keep your out-of-season clothes in wooden drawers than in vinyl bins collecting dust under your mattress. Beds with built-in storage also make it so much simpler to access your things — there’s no reaching in high cabinets or rifling through bins in the cellar. You can get the practical with the fairly if you select the right bed.
After a couple of coats of milk paint, I changed this IKEA daybed into a posh one-piece piece. It is my favourite spot for lounging in our home.
